Memento mori warns: remember you will die,
memento muni whispers: remember the moon,
remember.. and your inner light will answer.

Nox Mune Forest is a sino-french artist photographer born in Lyon and based in Paris. They specialised themselves in Fine Art and Studio photography, focusing on still life and conceptual portraiture.
Photography has been central to their work since studying at Auguste Renoir and Ensaama, where they built a strong foundation in textile techniques, screen printing, and History of Arts. This background, along with professional training at Speos International Photography School, shapes their approach to photography as a key element of their artistic research and storytelling.
Through their lens, they explore the dualities of feminine and masculine, softness and strength, clarity and ambiguity. This delicate tension extends into their work, where unexpected threads are woven between nature and humanity, folklore and modern myths, the uncanny and the known.
We are fleeting, changing, full of opposites,
let yourself be seen, let the moon remember you.
let yourself be seen, let the moon remember you.
